The All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) Center is one of the most ethnically and ideologically diverse masajid in the Northern Virginia area. Imam Magid has helped create a variety of community service programs and is regularly featured in Washington DC-area media and community gatherings. ADAMS serves over 5000 families and has 10 branches (Sterling, Tysons Corner, Fairfax, North Reston, South Reston-Herndon, Greater Gainesville, Ashburn, Washington DC, and South Riding) in Northern Virginia and DC. ADAMS maintains strong ties with other religious groups, and regularly hosts dialogs with Jewish, Christian, Sikh, Hindu, Baha'i, and other faith traditions. Additionally, ADAMS maintains an excellent relationship with the FBI, the Department of the Treasury, the Department of State, and various state and local law enforcement agencies. ADAMS serves Muslims from all ethnic backgrounds, and is governed by a highly diverse, democratically elected thirteen-member board of trustees, two of which are sisters. Our executive director, Imam Mohamed Magid, is also the president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). ADAMS upholds all Islamic values and virtues, knows no distinction or discrimination against any individual, and is a prime example of how Muslims should act towards their neighbors and the communities around them.
