Chita Cathedral mosque, built in 1907, is a monument of history. Works on its restoration are conducted under the auspices of the Republic of Tatarstan and personally President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.Chita Cathedral mosque has always been considered a decoration of the city. This is evidenced by the fact that in the city directory of 1910 reflected the following entry: "At the end of Lena street light stands a beautiful minaret stone mosque, built quickly by the local Mohammedans after the Declaration of religious freedom".
