Halal Select Snacks is the only candy company in the USA that has a mission statement to make candy that Muslim kids can enjoy. The company was founded in 2000 based on a business plan project from Wayne State University, and shortly thereafter introduced its first product?the Halal Crispy Treats. Then later in 2004, Halal Select Snacks came out with their second product - The American Halal Marshmallows.
