The Islamic Center of Hamden is currently in a rented space in a business park but has purchased land for a new building and plans to begin building soon. Mostly people of Indian subcontinent descent attend Jum'ah but there are many other demographics represented as well, especially in the daily prayers. Programs include Fajr, Dhuhr, Maghrib, Ishaa', and Jum'ah Salaah, Monthly community dinners, after school and Sunday Childrens' classes, and Iftaars during Ramadaan.
