The Museum is located on the ground floor of the mosque Kul Sharif, located on the territory of the Kazan Kremlin, and is valid from February 21, 2006. The Museum exposition occupies two halls with a total area of 566 m2. This is the only Museum in Russia dedicated to the history and culture of Islam in the Turko-Tatar peoples of the Volga and Ural regions.
