The Central Mosque of Charleston, situated at 1082 King Street in downtown Charleston, is a house of worship of God for people with ethnic backgrounds of about thirty different nationalities, including blacks, whites, Arabs and non-Arabs. It is open to every Muslim regardless of race, language or ethnicity. The Mosque is open for five daily prayers. The weekly religious service is held at 1:30pm on Fridays. The CMC also provides wedding and funeral services to Muslims.
