The name MAI'da is pronounced Maa-e-da, and simply means dining table or Banquet. Our cuisine is truly Indian, with a real emphasis on using the freshest ingredients, and reduce losses, a passion for cooking combined with attention to detail means that we do not use frozen meat or poultry and fish from sustainable sources, mindful of our environmental responsibility, most of our ingredients from local suppliers and of English origin. Also Maida in India, we meticulously combine various spices and vegetables to bring forth vivid colors and unique dishes in our menu. Food is prepared afresh and not as a permutation of base sauces, a far cry from the generic curry houses in the UK today. To further the theme of wholesome Indian food, and for you to enjoy it in its true sense, we are completely non-alcoholic restaurant. We believe that good food should be the palette, unadulterated.
