X international economic summit "Russia — the Islamic world: KazanSummit"

The forum is the main platform of economic interaction of the Russian Federation and countries of the Islamic world. First international economic summit of Russia and member countries of the organization of Islamic cooperation (OIC) was held in 2009, creating a leading international platform to discuss cooperation and implementation of joint projects. The annual international economic summit of Russia and member countries of the OIC is held with the support of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.In the past KazanSummit 2017 took part 2641 representatives of international organizations, public authorities, financial institutions, embassies of 15 countries, members of parliaments, investors and businessmen from 53 countries and 250 media representatives.A key theme of the Summit in 2018 will be "Halal as a way of life". The purpose of the Summit is to strengthen trade-economic, scientific-technical, social and cultural relations of Russia and the countries of the organization of Islamic cooperation. The Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan newly reveal the potential of cooperation with the countries of the Islamic world. Created the leading international platform to discuss cooperation and implementation of joint projects, as well as support for the presentation of economic possibilities and investment potential of our country.
