Russian Islamic Institute

Russian Islamic University is the first in Russian higher professional Islamic school founded in 1998 The main purpose is to educate RII modern Muslim intellectuals through training in the field of Islamic theology, highly qualified specialists in the field of history, law, language, Islamic economics, designed to serve the Muslim Ummah Russia. The dominant religious-legal school, adopted at the institute, is mazhab Imama Abu Hanifa. The Institute is actively involved in the process of revival hanafi religious-legal school of Islam, traditional for the majority of the Muslims of the Russian Federation with respect for the rest of the theological and legal schools.
