Fatoush Express

We flew in to Heathrow, got to our hotel (Hilton Metropole) after midnight and then went out looking for dinner at 1am. We were drawn to Fatoush, which had a sizeable crowd and had no problem accommodating nine of us (5 adults and 4 kids). Even though it was 1am and the restaurant closed at 2am, they made us feel welcome and did not rush us. We ordered a variety of kebabs, lamb shawarma, chicken shawarma and Lebanese lamb biryani. The food was amazing, freshly made and delicious. They gave us free pita, dips (spicy garlic and a spicy dip) and pickles and after dinner, baklava and coconut cake. They were extremely gracious and made us feel like family. A really wonderful experience and we will be back to try the other delicious items on the menu.
